IT System Administrator

GENERAL PURPOSE / SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Performs all aspects of Local Area Network (LAN) administration; Telephone System Administration and maintenance.  Responsible for communications with remote installations, problem solving, usage monitoring, modem communications, network security and disaster recovery.  Responsible for maintaining the Firewalls, Active Directory, Group Policy, VPN systems, VMware environment, network printers, SAN and NAS storage arrays, Web services, SharePoint administration and AX environment.  Overall responsibility for providing terminal and personal computer installation/relocation as required; control and maintenance of personal computers and printers within the company to insure compatibility and integration with corporate strategies. Additionally, ensures the integrity of files/databases and ensures system backups meet guidelines spelled out in IS work instructions.

Other Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all company departments to optimize working relationships and communications.
  • Maintain hardware registration and inventory to provide upgrades and ensure appropriate security levels are maintained. Maintain Inventory of Software Licenses versus Installs to prevent over installation and allow for future planning.
  • May be required to train others.  Any other duties assigned.

Education or Formal Training: 

This position requires an associate or higher degree in a computer-related field

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

This position requires a thorough understanding of network procedures and operations.  The incumbent must have demonstrated skills in human relations and communications with non-technical end-users.

Experience: 

  • One to four years of experience in Network Analyst/Operation.
  • Two to five years of PC experience in configuration of PC’s and software packages.
  • One to five year of experience with wide and local networks including experience with common-carrier data networks.
  • Office 365, SharePoint Online, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, and Windows server 2012 experience is required.

 

Payroll and Staff Accountant

GENERAL PURPOSE / SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for RMO Denver, multi‑state, and Canada payroll functions, coordinates operations of payroll software.  Also compiles multi-state payroll and sales and use tax information and files returns on a timely basis. Prepares cash management reports and bank reconciliations. Processes the 401k transaction, funding and annual true-ups.  Assist in annual audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for domestic and Canada.
  • Prepares bi-weekly domestic and Canadian payroll journal entries.
  • Designs reports to recall data from the payroll and human resources software system.
  • Prepares monthly bank reconciliations and related journal entries on a monthly basis.
  • Review and analyze accounting transactions and prepares account reconciliations for assigned accounts.  Assists with quarterly and year-end audits as needed.
  • Organize and submit monthly, quarterly and annual tax filing for sales tax, excise tax and other federal and state entities.
  • Prepares daily Cash Management reports.
  • Processes 401K transactions, funding and annual true-up.
  • Assists with annual reviews or audits as needed including finance, 401(k), and worker’s compensation audit.
  • May be required to train others. Any other duties assigned.

Education or Formal Training: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

  • Position requires practical knowledge of payroll policies, government regulations, and tax requirements including payroll and sales and use tax.
  • Computer skills are required.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to maintain a professional image at all times with all employees, financial institutions, federal and state government agencies and auditors.
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

Experience:

  • Three to five years experience in payroll department in increasing levels of responsibility using ADP payroll software handling multi-state payroll and all aspects of tax reporting at Federal, state and local levels.

 

In-Process Quality Coordinator

GENERAL PURPOSE / SUMMARY OF POSITION:

  • Understand, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) as it relates to manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular quality audits of manufacturing processes to ensure conformance to procedures and applicable requirements.
  • Address gaps in the QMS and facilitate the deployment of new and changed processes to ensure compliance, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Support manufacturing engineering and operations to identify and implement continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and reduce scrap.
  • Respond to factory requests for review of non-conforming product by performing measurements and/or testing of product in question and determines corrective/preventative action.
  • Monitors product through rework and temporary processes as required.
  • Communicate with Production, Engineering, Customer Service and Purchasing/Planning personnel to resolve quality issues and make recommendations for quality changes and improvements.
  • Analyze and report on progress towards Quality Metrics.
  • Analyze quality inspection plans and processes throughout production that affect new and existing products. Coordinate new or revised quality inspection documents (QRIP & QIS) by preparing an Engineering Change Order (ECO)
  • Champion the investigation of in-process product and process non-conformances and assist in the determination of the scope of non-conforming product(s) for isolation and containment purposes.
  • Provide back-up support to mold and die approvals, as required.
  • Assist with developing training documentation and administer training.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Education or Formal Training:

  • Associates degree in science, engineering or quality field or equivalent experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of medical device regulations (FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO 13485 and EU MDD/MDR)
  • Strong background performing process and quality audits
  • Ability to read blue prints
  • Proficiency using measuring device such as micrometers and calipers
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Background in implementing continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience: 

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality and/or medical device manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with the inspection criteria within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and associated procedures

 

Business Development Specialist 

We currently have an opening for a Business Development Specialist based in the Philadelphia area covering Eastern Pennsylvania, Central and South New Jersey, and Delaware.

GENERAL PURPOSE / SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Plans, coordinates and executes all sales and marketing functions for the geographical area assigned. Serves as a direct liaison between RMO and the customer to provide the best possible representation of the company’s products, services and systems.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Develops sales plans for the geographical area assigned based on sales forecasts, economic trends, customer needs and corporate objectives
  • Analyzes results of marketing plans and provides feedback to Denver
  • Plans for proper area and customer coverage
  • Recommends appropriate pricing, promotions, marketing strategies and new products and/or services which have originated through customer requests and/or marketing analysis to be used for field operation
  • Searches for key accounts to become influence centers
  • Effectively manage seminars, conventions and regional meetings as responsibilities require
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the university resident programs in assigned area

Experience:

  • Comprehensive understanding of dental terminology preferred
  • 1-2 years of outside sales experience preferred

Manufacturing Engineer 

GENERAL PURPOSE / SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provides technical support to all Operations, Manufacturing, and Engineering departments of the company through design, modification, optimization and/or procurement of new equipment/processes, tooling, manufacturing methods and systems for a more efficient, cost effective manufacturing operation. Designs, upgrades, and/or implements production equipment and/or processes to increase productivity, enhance quality, and achieve cost reduction.

Other Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Designs new tooling and fixtures to support process developments, improvements, and cost reductions.
  • Designs, conducts, and analyzes process experiments using statistical techniques.
  • Creates technical documentation that specifies the engineering requirements, manufacturing procedures, inspection methods, and required data records in compliance with regulatory requirements through Engineering Change Order (ECO)
  • Supports assigned manufacturing operation in the areas of processes, new product implementation, process and equipment validation, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Solves day-to-day production issues by troubleshooting processes and working directly with manufacturing supervisors
  • Provides necessary manufacturing planning specifications, equipment, and tooling to meet quality, cost, and schedules for the production of RMO products.
  • Selects the most appropriate manufacturing processes regarding rate/cost, repeatability, and reliability. Must have ability to develop methods by which to manufacture intricate, precision parts in low, medium, and high quantities.
  • Assists Quality Assurance and other technical service personnel on the resolution of customer complaints. Provides technical solutions to reported field problems.
  • Interfaces with external consultants and/or contractors in designing new or upgraded manufacturing processes or equipment.
  • Responsible for the timely and successful completion of large scale projects within budget constraints.

Education or Formal Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Process Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) experience required.
  • PTC Pro-Engineer / Creo or other CAD experience a plus.
  • Project Management skills a plus.

Experience:

Three to five years of direct hands‑on experience in manufacturing systems and processes (medical device or regulated environment preferred) including:

  • Metal machining, forming, and stamping
  • Injection molding

  • Brazing

Prior experience in industrial automation is preferred.

 

Cost Accountant I & GL Support  

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under general supervision, performs cost accounting functions involving the application of well established cost account standards, principles and practices. Computes unit cost of organization products and establish cost standards, adjusting them periodically as necessitated by changes in material and/or overhead costs. May compare actual cost to cost standards and prepare reports on variances by managing obsolete and scrap write-offs and adjustments to month end and inventory close. Also, responsible for applying principles of accounting to record financial information and prepare financial reports including maintaining fixed asset balances and all tax filings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate fixed asset balances and PP&E roll forward.
  • Organizes and submits monthly, quarterly and annual tax filings for sales tax, excise tax and other federal and state entities.
  • Assists in month-end closing procedures including adjusting and re-occurring journal entries. Reviews and analyzes accounting transactions and prepares account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
  • Maintains CIP projects.
  • Reviews and analyzes month end inventory variances and makes appropriate adjusting entries.
  • Investigates and corrects material, labor and overhead variances.
  • Supports A/P coordinator in processing PO receipts and invoicing.
  • Ensures the validity and accuracy of ERP through analysis, internal audit and coordination with work order and production processing.
  • Assist with outside audit preparation.
  • May be required to train others.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 2-5 years general ledger and cost experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX or 365 preferred.
  • Excellent Excel skills

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

 

Toolroom Machinist 

GENERAL PURPOSE / SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Primarily responsible for daily support Tool & Die makers and production by machining raw materials and providing general maintenance to tooling. Individual will have the opportunity to grow into a Tool & Die maker position. Assigned manufacturing tooling builds, preparation, and maintenance towards meeting all product requirements and specifications. RMO Tool & Die department builds and maintains: complex stamping dies, metal Injection molds, special fixturing, and special tools.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • To manually machine components for: tooling assemblies, dies, and injection molds, fixtures from blue prints and concept.
  • Perform general maintenance of dies, fixtures, molds, specialized tooling, and toolroom equipment.
  • Interface with engineering, quality, and production personnel on related tooling developments, testing, improvements, and solutions.
  • Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, comparator, height gage, Go/NOGO gages, review and interpret drawings for dimensions and tolerances.
  • Perform required duties as assigned.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and detail oriented required, our production parts are small.

Education or Formal Training:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Advanced Mathematics. Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use of geometry and trigonometry.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

  • Must have basic knowledge of various toolroom equipment: surface grinders, milling machines, lathes, drill presses.
  • Having familiarity with of progressive and stamping dies, die processes, and maintenance is a plus.

Experience:

Must have complete set of toolmaker tools, i.e.: Micrometer, calipers, indicator, etc.

 

Manufacturing Operators  

Full-Time and Part-Time positions available with occasional overtime
Day shift and possibly swing shift (which will include a shift premium) hours are available:
Day shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday)
Swing shift (2:20 p.m. to 10:50 p.m. Monday through Friday)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs all operations necessary for preparing, brazing, and inspecting bracket/base assemblies and tubes
  • Spot and weld brackets, tubes, and lingual attachments to bands
  • Performs all operations necessary for molding, trimming, and staging of brackets
  • Responsible to select, count and package parts to fill orders for inventory as well as customer orders on a daily basis
  • All work is to be performed in conformance with quality specifications and scheduling requirements

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to sit the majority of the day and work with very small parts using tweezers
  • Good eyesight and hand/eye coordination
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Good attendance is a must
  • Previous Manufacturing experience is preferred
