RMO, Inc. (Rocky Mountain Orthodontics) is an internationally known manufacturer of orthodontic appliances headquartered in Denver, CO.  We have been in business for over 80 years.

We currently have openings for a Manufacturing Operators, Seattle Sales Representative, Ft Lauderdale/Miami Sales Representative and Janitor.

 

Manufacturing Operators

Positions open are Regular Full-Time status (40 hours per week) with occasional overtime.
Day shift and possibly swing shift (which will include a shift premium) hours are available:
Day shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday)
Swing shift (2:20 p.m. to 10:50 p.m. Monday through Friday)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs all operations necessary for preparing, brazing, and inspecting bracket/base assemblies and tubes.
  • Spot and weld brackets, tubes, and lingual attachments to bands.
  • Performs all operations necessary for molding, trimming, and staging of brackets.
  • Responsible to select, count and package parts to fill orders for inventory as well as customer orders on a daily basis.
  • All work is to be performed in conformance with quality specifications and scheduling requirements.

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to sit the majority of the day and work with very small parts using tweezers
  • Good eyesight and hand/eye coordination
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills
  • Good attendance is a must
  • Previous Manufacturing experience is preferred

 

Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Establishes quality management system elements that comply with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, Council Directive 93/42/EEC, CMDCAS, MHLW Ministerial Ordinance 169, and FDA QSR requirements. Responsible for establishing and leading the internal audit program of the quality management system. Develops audit protocols and checklists. Lead Auditor responsibilities. Acts as a consultant in quality systems requirements.

Ensures company compliance to all required Federal, State, Local and International Regulations and Laws. Prepare documentation/application forms for renewal of regulatory licenses and permits for domestic and foreign entities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate efforts associated with the preparation of regulatory documents or submissions.
  • Coordinate, prepare, or review regulatory submissions for domestic or international projects.
  • Identify relevant guidance documents, international standards, or consensus standards and provide interpretive assistance.
  • Maintain current knowledge base of existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents.
  • Recommend changes to company procedures in response to changes in regulations or standards.
  • Prepare or maintain technical files as necessary to obtain and sustain product approval, registration, and licenses.
  • Lead and coordinate internal or external audits.
  • Lead and coordinate Corrective/Preventative Actions.
  • Prepare or direct the preparation of additional information or responses as requested by regulatory agencies.
  • Escort government inspectors during inspections and provide post-inspection follow-up information as requested.
  • Analyze product complaints and make recommendations regarding their potential reportability and recall.
  • Participates in project teams as assigned and provides guidance on regulatory matters related to document requirements, regulatory submissions and maintenance.
  • Responsible for storage, retrieval, and timely destruction of corporate level, regulatory, and quality records and documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

  • Bachelors/Associates degree or equivalent work experience.Lead Auditor training or certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proven ability of working in a cross functional team environment.Must possess working knowledge of ISO 13485, CE, MDD standards
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, Local, and International Regulations and Laws for Medical Device Manufacturers.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Regulatory Affairs and/or Quality Systems Management role in a Medical Device environment.
  • Must have prior CAPA and Internal Audit experience

 

Product Specialist

Provides product support to Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Support by facilitating product release information and activities with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates research, evaluation, and testing on potential products.
  • Works directly with suppliers to source, evaluate, and release new products.
  • Interfaces with Marketing to develop and communicate product announcements, sales sheets, marketing materials, and technical requirements.
  • Supports Engineering in establishing purchase specification documents and requirements.
  • Coordinates product surveys and feedback from sales and customers.
  • Maintains and completes required documentation for all product release activities.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining product life cycle information including part assignment, item masters, and pricing

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

  • Associate’s degree in Product Marketing or Engineering related field
  • Computer Skills – MS Office skills. Must be very proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Must be able to accurately articulate and translate technical product information to internal/external contacts.
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Minimum of 1-2 years with product release and/or product management responsibilities

 

Seattle Sales Representative

Summary of Position:

Plans, coordinates and executes all sales and marketing functions for the geographical area assigned, in accordance with overall corporate objectives. Serves as a direct liaison between RMO and the customer to provide the best possible representation of the company’s products, services and systems.

Develops sales plans for the geographical area assigned based on sales forecasts, economic trends, customer needs and corporate objectives. Analyzes results of marketing plans and provides feedback to Denver. Plans for proper area and customer coverage.

Recommends appropriate pricing, promotions, marketing strategies and new products and/or services which have originated through customer requests and/or marketing analysis to be used for field operation.

Searches for key accounts to become influence centers. Effectively manage seminars, conventions and regional meetings as responsibilities require.

Maintain a positive relationship with the university resident programs in assigned area.

Other Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Any other duties assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills Required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Ft Lauderdale/Miami Sales Representative

Janitor

We currently have an opening for a Janitor in our Denver office.

Summary of Position:

This position is responsible for janitorial duties in an assigned area of RMO. This position is also responsible for cleaning around the outside of all buildings, lawn and tree care, and snow removal. This position also requires performing certain janitorial duties in other areas or buildings when necessary.

Other Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and non-production times to perform major repairs reducing the effect on production.
  • Follow proper procedures for safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
  • Comply with all Safety Rules and Policies when working on equipment or machinery.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by Lead Maintenance Mechanic, RMO’s President, CEO or Vice Presidents.
  • May be required to train others. Any other duties assigned.

Education/Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in order to understand hazards of certain chemicals exposed to on the job. Requires some degree of agility and physical strength. Occasionally required to climb ladders and work in high locations.
  • One year janitorial experience required.
