| Judah Garfinkle, D.M.D. |

Biography:
Dr. Judah S. Garfinkle earned his D.M.D. from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, his M.S. and Orthodontic Certificate from the University of Kentucky, and completed a Fellowship in Craniofacial Orthodontics at the New York University Medical Center Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. He received the Harry Sicher Research Award from the American Association of Orthodontists in 2006 for his master’s thesis project utilizing orthodontic mini-implants in adolescent premolar extraction therapy. Dr. Garfinkle is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, the Angle Orthodontist, and The Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal. Dr. Garfinkle is currently the Director of Craniofacial Orthodontics and Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery and Orthodontics at Oregon Health and Science University. He also maintains a private practice in Portland, Oregon. His clinical and research interests include the use of orthodontic skeletal anchorage devices and the treatment of patients with craniofacial deformities and other special needs. |
